I was delighted to welcome Politics students from Wilmington Grammar sixth form to Westminster.  The group had a sponsored tour of the Palace of Westminster, before meeting with me for a Q&A session, where they asked some very good questions about the workings of Parliament and current affair

I have today tabled an amendment to the Sentencing Bill intended to close a loophole in the law.

I first visited the Europa Weightlifting Club in Temple Hill, back in September 2019, when I accepted an invitation from Olympic weightlifter, Andrew Callard.  

From today the NHS Pharmacy First service is available for patients in England seeking treatment for minor illnesses.

The service will allow pharmacists to prescribe medication for sore throats, earaches, sinusitis, impetigo, shingles, infected insect bites and UTIs in women.

On 10th April last year, a portion of the southern edge of the Swanscombe Quarry collapsed.  This collapse caused a landslide which resulted in a significant amount of chalk and other material falling to the quarry floor, on top of business premises located below.  The landslide also took with it
