I am delighted that today we are announcing £6 million in funding for new wards at Darent Valley Hospital and Medway Maritime Hospital this winter. This refurbishment at DVH will create 15 additional beds across three new wards.
It was a pleasure to visit Dartford and Crayford Sea Cadets again recently. The cadets heard from Yuiha Mitsui, from Hiroshima, Japan. She had asked to visit the unit as she is from a Naval family and her father is a serving officer in the Japanese Navy.

Today I took part in a debate about Under-age Vaping. I agree that we must stop under-age vaping and dissuade adult non-smokers from taking up vaping, however, we must also take advantage of the benefits vaping can bring to helping adult smokers stop smoking.
