It was a pleasure to attend the Dartford Armed Forces and Veterans' Christmas Lunch recently at The Bull, Horns Cross and it was great to see so many veterans there.
On the second Saturday of each month, there is also a Veterans' Breakfast which takes place at the same venue.
I was invited to visit Wellbeing Link which is an organisation launched in 2014 to help local people who are living in isolation with life threatening health issues. It holds weekly meetings at St Anselm's Parish Hall every Friday.

UK Parliament Week (UKPW) is an annual event, spreading the word about what Parliament is, what it does and how you can get involved. In Dartford, many schools, as well as Scouting and Guiding groups, took part in the event which happens every November.
