National Highways have clearly made a huge mess when changing over to a new Dart Charge provider. They have caused enormous stress to people trying to pay the toll.
I met National Highways to raise the concerns I had then and was assured by them their IT systems could cope. Clearly this was wrong.
National Highways informed me they have increased the website capacity and the number of people answering phone calls. However, it still took me two hours to access the website!
I am bitterly disappointed in this system failure, particularly as National Highways had two years to prepare for this changeover.
