I was delighted to join Year 6 pupils at Cherry Orchard Primary Academy recently for a Q&A session.
The school opened in 2017 and I have visited several times, the last time being 2018 when I joined staff and pupils to plant a tree as part of the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy.
Earlier this month, I visited Dartford Science and Technology College and met with students and staff. I talked to students learning about the Amazon Rainforest during their Geography GCSE lesson.
I was pleased to meet up with the team from Dartford’s Rhizome Energy Ltd and Rhizome2 Hydrogen Ltd at the UK Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association Lobby Day in Westminster.
It was great to see the team again and hear about some of their recent achievements.
DARTFORD MP, Gareth Johnson, is holding a debate on the expansion of the ULEZ on Tuesday, December 20th in Westminster Hall.

DARTFORD MP, Gareth Johnson, today joined MPs from the South East to meet with Transport Minister, Richard Holden, over anger at plans to extend the ULEZ scheme, which is being introduced by Labour’s London Mayor.
DARTFORD MP, Gareth Johnson, today said he was pleased the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Secretary agreed with him in condemning the Mayor of London’s decision to extend the ULEZ across the capital, which will effectively tax Dartfordians travelling into the capital.
Since the new Secretary of State for Transport, Mark Harper, was appointed, I have met with him twice to impress upon him the importance of the Lower Thames Crossing, which will help alleviate the daily traffic problems at Dartford. I also asked him about it during Transport Questions.
