I was invited to visit Wellbeing Link which is an organisation launched in 2014 to help local people who are living in isolation with life threatening health issues. It holds weekly meetings at St Anselm's Parish Hall every Friday.
During my visit, the group were making Christmas decorations. Other activities on offer include games, exercise or dance sessions, quizzes, complementary therapies, beauty and relaxation treatments, day trips, legal and financial advice and signposting to other useful organisations.
This is a fantastic organisation and attracts a variety of age groups, where people get to meet others and make friends in a welcoming space and I enjoyed chatting to all those attending.
