A Valentine’s Day welcome to British Heart Foundation

Date: Mon 14th February 2011

On a fitting day, Valentine’s Day, Gareth Johnson welcomed the Dartford British Heart Foundation’s key personnel to Parliament to celebrate their 50th anniversary which they are marking with the launch of their ‘Mending Broken Hearts’ research programme.

During this anniversary they are also making 50 town visits across the UK ‘Heart Towns’, Dartford is one of these.

Gareth said:  “I am fully supportive of the BHF’s attempt to raise £50m over the next five years to fund their researchers to enable the damaged heart to mend itself and to find a way to make the first repairable human heart a reality”.
