Sport in Dartford

 In Dartford we are fortunate to have a large number of sporting facilities and clubs on our doorstep.  Whether your interest is in football, cricket or another sport there is plenty of opportunity to get involved in Dartford.

Princes Park is a fantastic venue to watch football at and we are extremely fortunate to have this facility in Dartford.  Dartford FC have been based at Princess Park since November 2006 and the club has gone from strength to strength.  The facility is often also used by a number of local football clubs and provides a great venue for matches and private functions.

Dartford Cricket Club is one of the world’s oldest cricket clubs dating back to 1727 and is one of the largest cricket clubs in Kent.  The club provides coaching for children and has an active colts section as well as its adult teams.

In addition to cricket and football, Dartford has a range of other sporting groups including a first class judo club, a large number of dance schools, the Arrow Riding Centre and athletics groups. There is also Fairfield Pool and local fishing lakes which are popular with anglers. Bluewater Shopping Centre also offers rock climbing, cycling and adventure golf.   We are extremely fortunate to have these activities here in Dartford and I would encourage everyone to make the most of these facilities.
