Today, I visited Dartford Invicta Bowls Club to meet the members and see the facilities available as the club prepares to celebrate its centenary.
The 31-member strong club, made up of people from their 20s to their 80s, really enjoy getting together, playing bowls and socialising.
This month, work to upgrade the clubhouse was completed by outreach workers in the Breyer Group, who restored the clubhouse by painting it and working on the guttering and windows.
As well as chatting to the members, it was great to have a go at bowling and learn a few tips.
